Hi Everyone!
After my post this morning, Laura dropped off Jane for our trip to Draper. After I got Jane loaded in the car, she wanted Dalton to go with, so I called Lisa and we picked up Dalton. We all went to Einstein's, as usual, and picked up our breakfast. Dalton got to see his aunt (Christian's sister, Trisha) who works there. There we drove to Draper, with our usual stop at the store for lunch ingredients.
When we got to Mom and Dad's, it was pretty ob vious that they hadn't been doing much yet today. I was a little concerned because Mom didn't seem as responsive as usual, but after about 20 minutes she had moved to her Jazzy and was in the kitchen while I was cleaning. The rest of the morning was normal. I wasn't able to stay and visit because I had an appointment with Bill at the University, so we all left at 11:30.
The most memorable thing is that Dad show likes to keep the house VERY warm. It was nice to go out into the snow (yes, it was snowing) to head home.
Loves!
Hi,
ReplyDeleteJust an update from me, Scott, Jayden & I went out Thursday, March 24th. Scott had bought a 10lb bag of bird seed so he went straight to fill the feeders first thing before going in the house. Jayden & I went inside, Dad was searching for Moms perscriptions that they had picked up the day before, it was 4 bottles which was her incilin? and pain meds...about $80. worth. I proceeded to help Dad look, we searched the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, livingroom... Mom moved into her jazzy so could search around the recliners. Nothing. Mom mentioned the trash, so Scott went out and checked in the outside can....sure enough it was in the bottom. It had some Wendys garbage in the top of the bag, so they probably stopped for lunch on the way home from Drs and not thinking tossed the bag thinking it was all garbage. So relieved we found it. Had a good visit after that, they were both happy and we enjoyed the time spent there.
Thanks so much for all you guys do, from the bottom of my heart. You are both wonderful. I am so happy you found the meds, that would have been difficult getting them again, not to mention expensive. Yay!
ReplyDeleteI am sure mom and dad loved having Dalton and Jane out there, I think young children help older people feel a little younger again!
